Inside NVIDIA Inception: building edge AI for safer roads

We build our on-device AI inside NVIDIA Inception, NVIDIA’s programme for AI startups. It gives us the tooling and the engineering support to run behaviour analysis on the hardware a vehicle already carries, rather than in a data centre.

That choice is the whole point. When inference runs at the edge, decisions happen in the moment, the system keeps working through tunnels and dead zones, and raw data never has to be uploaded to be understood.

For a fleet, that means a behaviour profile without the surveillance. The driver’s data stays on the driver’s device. What you see is the pattern.
